Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd then went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first few minutes. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she was able to stop her in the third round via TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round at the end of the second. Her dominance continued and she scored a more impressive win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for the performance of the night. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the third at UFC 7 on ESPN. For a replacement last minute to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
